Competition Entry Cubebrush ArtWar4 War of Elements
„What I destroy you no longer need.“
Oyá is a Loa in several Voodoo Religions. She is a goddess of storms and lightning, a warrior queen but also described as a caring mother and protector of children and women.
This is my final work for the ArtWar 4 challenge. I really wasn't sure which element to choose. Since many years I'm fascinated by the voddoo religion so I scrolled through a website where all the manifold voodoo loas were listed to get some inspiration. The description of Oyá got my attention and after some research I decided to make her my art war champion.
